Permitted Materials
For both In-Person and Online formats, participants are permitted to use only pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and blank scratch paper. All other aids, including but not limited to calculators, notes, websites, and other individuals (e.g., friends or family members) are strictly prohibited.
For the online contest specifically, participants may use a device (such as a laptop or tablet) exclusively for the purpose of accessing the contest and submitting their answers.
Scoring and Ranking
Students will receive 10 points for each correct answer, 1 point for each unanswered question, and 0 points for each wrong answer.
Individual Ranks will be determined using the following system:
- Total points
- Points received from the last question on the Individual Test, followed by the second-to-last question, and so on.
- If a tie persists, positions will be determined through a random lot draw.
